About the Job

Join a non-profit organization that has been making a difference in our community since 1999. We’re looking for an individual to join our team who loves organization and is detail-oriented to be our Administrative Assistant. This role helps to keep CCMO running smoothly so that we can best help our kids and families.

• Full Time Position (8hr shift).
• You’ll communicate often with customers, employees, and public officials as you assist the Executive Administrative Assistant in working with CCMO’s Management Teams.
• You’ll prepare internal and external correspondence for management, handling confidential and non-routine information.
• You’ll be responsible for the retention and disposal of case records according to Wayne County and CCMO policies, as well as maintain office files for management.
• You’ll answer and transfer phone calls, screening, when necessary, as well as welcome visitors.
• You’ll respond to and resolve administrative inquires and questions and complete tasks such as retrieving information as requested from records, email, minutes, and other related documents.
• This is an onsite position at our newly renovated office located in the New Center building.

Qualifications

• Associates degree required.
• Minimum 3 years of administrative experience required.
• Must have a thorough knowledge of a variety of computer software applications.
• Must be able to type quickly and have great attention to detail when typing and proofreading materials.
• Experience using programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint is preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a demonstrated ability to juggle multiple tasks and prioritize.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong communication skills.
• Works great independently to meet deadlines.
• Must have reliable transportation and valid Michigan auto insurance in your name.
• Must be able to drive for job responsibilities.

We’re looking for an individual to join our team who has a knack for implementing daily operations that are aligned with our goals and strategies. This role reports to the CEO; top candidates will be an exemplary leader and possess a sound understanding of business strategies as they align to the CCMO’s mission and service offerings.

• You’ll lead CCMO’s Youth Assistance Program team and work with them to schedule, supervise, and direct their work.
• You’ll administer grant programs at operational phases within the objectives of the organization, including setting up operational procedures and plans for the execution of all program functions.
• You’ll participate and help develop seminars, workshops, and conferences to continue professional development
• You’ll determine outcomes and metrics implicit in the organization’s mission and vision
• You’ll recommend policies to the CEO and/or assist the CEO in the formation of policies for the effective and economic operation of the organization
• You’ll evaluate areas of needed service, investigate the appropriateness of expanded service delivery and institute new and/or expanded service programs compatible with overall Organization Programs
• You’ll ensure that services offered meet the highest, accepted standards of the field, or institute corrective action plans to raise the delivery of organizational services
• You’ll maintain, in conjunction with the CEO, CFO & COO, contact with volunteers, community leaders, and others to develop public relations, as well as set up and assist in the leadership of groups, which augments the service of the division of the organization
• You’ll prepare a departmental budget, maintain fiscal controls, complete required reports, and makes recommendations to the CEO & CFO
• You’ll actively participate in the strategic planning process, maintaining a pulse on the community needs and service trends.
• This is an onsite position (not a remote position) at our newly renovated office located in the New Center building.

Qualifications

• REQUIRED only: Master's degree in social work, Psychology, Sociology, Criminal Justice, or Human Services degree from an accredited college or university.
• Preferred: Post bachelor's degree experience in a community-based or substance abuse treatment setting.
• Preferred: State of Michigan Licensing requirements with Michigan Certification Board for Addiction Professionals.
• Preferred licensed as a Certified Social Worker (CSW) or licensed in a related profession in the state of Michigan.
• Minimum 10 years progressively responsible administrative experience at an executive management or higher level.
• REQUIRED: Grant writing experience which will be responsibilities utilized for this position.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Must have a thorough knowledge of a variety of computer software applications, including Microsoft Office application (including Excel).
• Proven experience providing leadership and direction to a management team while promoting the overall organization’s mission.
• Works great independently to meet deadlines, but also has the ability to effectively work in a team dynamic
• Familiarity with quality and success indicators
• Enjoys working with youth and is able to tailor their communication style to their audience while remaining professional.
• Works creatively with funding sources, mission staff, and client populations to ensure the delivery of quality services.
• Must possess a valid unrestricted Michigan driver’s license and a safe driving record.
• Satisfactory DHHS Central Registry Clearance and State Police Record Check, negative TB Test, satisfactory physical examination(s).
• Strong Grant writing, development, and budgeting skills
• Strong communication and leading skills.
